Yeah, you can go to the individual station web sites to find clips of TV shows (like CNN or Fox) but is there one hub site that offers links to clips from all popular shows? (be it news, sitcom, etc). So instead of jumping around to different station sites, you can just go to one site for an overview of most all new TV clips?

Most providers that I have seen have a listing but no synopsis of programs and the listing is on a separate channel. DISH has an instant synopsis of current and upcoming programs imposed on the same channel with the program by simply touching the “info” button. I have become addicted to this feature. I would like to try other providers but only if they have this feature.

I just bought a hi def lcd tv today. . . I currently have a basic cable one package of 60 channels. Do I need to get a dvr and upgrade my package to Hi def channels in order to receive the hi def pictures for my television. or will my normal package come with some hi def channels as it is currently? I’m unsure how this all works and I would rather not pay the extra money for a more premium cable one package???? please any input would be helpful. thanks

I have been on to comcast, direct tv and dish websites. I currently own dish but always seenm to be having problems with it and we have crappy channels (the family package) yet we pay $40 dollors because of all the extra fees. I want a cheap network with good reception and good channels. What is the best network for that.
PS. I also have read about outdoor antennas. (No monthly fees) Do they get alot of channels and do they stand in storms well. And how much do they run.
Any info would help lots!!

is there a way you can get this or do you have to have satellite service (Which I don’t have and don’t plan on getting). If my tv won’t pick up channels when the cable isn’t plugged in, would buying one of those inexpensive antennas work?

We are running a small Cable TV channel in Tamil Nadu. We are looking for a software that can schedule and play out the channel, with customizable logos and other overlays. We also need to telecast Live programs from camera.
Anyone pls help to find the best software.

We are thinking about changing to Verizon Fios. The essentials package. It comes with one box and says we’ll get 250 channels. Is that only the tv with the box? Will the other tv’s in the house only get the basic channels?

I need someones help. I currently have Time Warner Cable service in Cleveland Ohio. We have 2 Televisions. 1 is a standard tv and the other is a plasma high def. Well with our package we have 2 hd dvr boxes “one for each tv”. Now here is the issue. . Whenever I try to watch local channels or hd channels on the standard tv the picture is choppy and constantly pauses. I cannot even record on the dvr because of this issue! Its very annoying. Since getting time warner cable they have been to my home about 6 times. All being different techs. They have reinstalled fresh cable from the house to the street and any lines in the house. They say its not their fault. I am not buy it. .
Would and hd box do these symptoms because its hooked to a standard tv? Like ive stated. The hd tv plays awesome! Not a single issue!
I don’t know what else to do really. Any advice would be great. .
