How To Hook Up My Visonik Subs And Amp Up To My Tv?

I just bought some Visonik subs and an amp. I want to hook them up to my tv until I get a car. How do I do this and do I need an amp if I hook just my subs up to my tv?

I have done this using an old computer power supply for the 12V feed to the amp. Plenty of free computer towers available.

yes you do need an amp i tried before just hookin up to the T.V..it don’t work. well if u don’t really care about the sound n you just want something to listen to.. you can get a car battery and hook it up to the amp n remote (on the amp) n hook a switch to it so you can turn it off n then ground it to the battery. Then take any audio wires n hook it up from the amp to the T.V (assuming the T.V. has a audio out jack) n the wire it up to the subs and have funnn!!!!

Just to give you an idea….
A 13.8 voilt DC 25 ampere bench-top power supply will push a 350 watt RMS total system at the cost of about $100 just for the supply.
